Outfit recommendations are AI-generated suggestions for inspiration — they do not constitute professional styling, fashion, or personal shopping advice.

Aurelle reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonably possible.

10. Service availability

We strive to keep Aurelle available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Mandatory consumer rights: Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit), wilful misconduct (Vorsatz), or liability that cannot be excluded under German law, including injury to life, body, or health (§§ 309 Nr. 7, 309 Nr. 8 BGB). Your statutory consumer rights under EU and German law remain unaffected.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elena Schulte Ladbeck and Aurelle from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms or your misuse of the service. This does not apply to the extent that you are not responsible for the breach.

13. Data protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes in detail what personal data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, your rights under the GDPR, and how to exercise them.

By using Aurelle, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.

If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence. You retain the right to bring claims in the courts of your country of residence. Disputes may also be resolved in the competent courts in Germany.

The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution (ODR) platform for consumers at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obligated and generally not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board, but will consider participation on a case-by-case basis.

15. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its original intent.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of Aurelle after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you may delete your account before the changes take effect.
