BIG BANG INNOVATION Award 2026
On 16 September 2026 in Berlin, aurelle received the BIG BANG INNOVATION Award in the Product Innovation category.
Jury assessment by the German Institute for Service Quality (DISQ), presented together with DUP UNTERNEHMER.
What the award recognises
aurelle is a personal AI stylist. It first gets to know its user and her personal style — her preferences, colours, proportions, everyday life and wardrobe. Through her feedback, aurelle keeps on learning.
From that come personal looks and outfit planning, packing lists for trips, the translation of inspiration into her own style, and considered recommendations for new pieces that genuinely suit her.
What sets it apart from conventional recommendation systems is the direction of travel. Most systems start with a product or a catalogue and look for the right people for it. aurelle starts with the person and looks from there at her wardrobe, at inspiration and at fashion.
The app is ad-free and subscription-funded. Its advice is therefore not directly tied to selling as many products as possible. Sometimes a good recommendation means discovering a new piece that complements a personal style. And sometimes it means realising that exactly what is needed is already there.

“The jury highlights aurelle as a considered combination of technical AI innovation and social purpose. It particularly commends the approach of making styling expertise accessible to a broad group of users while making a concrete contribution to reducing textile waste. The consistent focus on the existing wardrobe before any new purchase gives the app a clear stance that goes beyond mere functionality.”
