Magazine-quality flat lays,
generated in seconds.
Every outfit in aurelle comes with an AI-generated collage — a styled flat-lay image showing how your actual garments look together. Not generic illustrations. Your real clothes, arranged like a fashion editorial.
aurelle's AI outfit collages are rendered visual previews showing how a suggested outfit's pieces look together, composed from your real wardrobe photos. Every AI-generated outfit includes one, on every plan, with no token cost — so you see the look before you wear it, instead of imagining it.
How it works
When aurelle generates an outfit — whether it's your daily suggestion, a planned outfit, or a travel day — the AI doesn't just list the items. It composes them into a visual flat-lay arrangement.
Your garment photos are extracted from their backgrounds, proportionally sized relative to each other, and arranged into a composition that shows how the pieces relate. A top is positioned over trousers. Shoes sit below. A bag is placed to the side. Accessories are arranged around the core pieces. The result is a single image you can glance at and immediately understand: this is the outfit.
- Background removal. Each garment is cleanly extracted from its original photo, regardless of how it was photographed.
- Proportional sizing. Items are scaled to realistic proportions — a shoe isn't the same size as a coat. The collage reflects how pieces actually relate in scale.
- Intelligent arrangement. The AI positions items in a natural flat-lay composition — layered, overlapping where appropriate, with accessories placed contextually.
- Consistent style. Every collage follows the same clean, editorial aesthetic — so your outfit library looks cohesive, not like a random collection of screenshots.
Professional quality
The difference between a list of item thumbnails and a styled flat-lay collage is the difference between a shopping cart and a magazine page. aurelle's collages aim for the latter:
Shadow and depth
Subtle drop shadows give items a sense of dimension — as if they're laid out on a clean surface rather than floating on a screen. The effect is understated: enough to feel physical, not enough to feel artificial.
Layering logic
Items overlap the way a stylist would arrange them. A blazer's lapel drapes over a top's neckline. A scarf is positioned as it would naturally fall. The AI understands garment structure — not just item boundaries — and arranges pieces with spatial awareness.
Proportional accuracy
A pair of earrings is small. A winter coat is large. The collage reflects this. Items are scaled relative to each other so the overall composition feels realistic, giving you an honest sense of how the outfit's proportions work together.
Every outfit, visualised
Collages aren't a premium add-on reserved for special occasions. They're generated for every outfit across every feature:
- Today's outfit. Your daily AI-generated suggestions arrive as collages you can swipe through each morning.
- Planned outfits. When you assign an outfit to a future date, the collage is what you see on your calendar — a visual preview of what you'll wear.
- Travel plans. Your day-by-day travel outfit plan is a scrollable gallery of collages — one for each day of your trip.
- Build Your Own. When you create outfits manually, your canvas arrangement is captured as a collage image in the same style.
- Outfit history. Every outfit you've worn is logged with its collage, building a visual diary of your style over time.
Tap any item in a collage to interact with it. View the item's details, swap it for an alternative, or remove it from the outfit. The collage regenerates instantly with the change. This makes refining outfits fast and visual — you see the result of every swap before you commit.
Share-ready
Collages are designed to look good beyond the app. Export any outfit collage as a share-ready image:
- Instagram Stories. Vertical format, full-screen optimised. Clean background with subtle aurelle branding. Share your outfit of the day with one tap.
- Instagram feed. Square or 4:5 format for grid posts. Styled to match the editorial aesthetic that performs well on visual platforms.
- Direct sharing. Send via WhatsApp, iMessage, or any messaging app. Ask a friend's opinion on tomorrow's outfit without describing it in words.
- Save to camera roll. Keep a personal archive of your best looks. Build a visual style diary outside the app.
The exported images are high-resolution and clean — designed to look intentional, not like a screenshot from an app.
Why collages matter
A list of items — "blue blazer + white top + grey trousers + brown loafers" — is information. A collage is understanding. You can see at a glance whether the proportions work, whether the colours harmonise, whether the overall look matches what you had in mind.
Collages are what make aurelle a daily-use styling tool rather than a wardrobe database. They turn "I have 200 items and no idea what to wear" into "here are three looks for today — swipe and pick." The visual format respects how you actually make outfit decisions: by looking, not by reading.
